After a gap-up opening, Nifty traded range-bound between 23,320–23,450 during the first half of the session. As the day progressed, the index rebounded from its intraday low, and aggressive buying momentum pushed it above the 23,600 mark. Nifty eventually settled positive with a sharp gain of 1.99 percent.
